Ultrasound Accuracy in Early Pregnancy: What to Expect

my last period was july 19(my period is always regular every 28 days) and i missed my period in august so in september i went to a regular doctor and they gave me a due date which was april 25 so i finally went to a obstertrician on nov.6 and was told my due date was may 23 based on ultrasound. Which would you say is more accurate?

Two ultrasound techs now have told me that, where dating a pregnancy is concerned, ultrasounds are most accurate between 4 weeks and 14 weeks. If your regular doctor was only going by your last menstrual period, I think the ultrasound is more accurate.
