What are the odds of getting breast cancer if you have been treated for breast cancer  in the other breast?

Mathematically it should be around 2% but in reality it is somewhat higher since the fact that you have had one breast cancer in fact increases your risk a little bit. But not by much. So a few percent. We are here talking of getting a NEW breast cancer. Your risk of getting your old cancer back depends on a number of factors like pathology, grade & stage of your previous cancer of which I know nothing at the moment.
