Loestrin 24 Side Effects & Irregular Bleeding: Is My Birth Control Working?

I recently started using loestrin 24 about 5 months ago. However, i am getting my period  for about a week straight about a week or two before i take my four inactive pills. I Also get my period when i take the four inactive pills. So normally i have gotten it twice a month. i take it within the same hour everyday. This month i just got my period a week before  the fake pills, and did not get it when i took the fake pills. is my birthcontrol not working?

I would recommend that you go to your physician or call and ask this question. Or whoever gave you the prescription. I don't think that this is the way the pills are supposed to work. Is it possible that you got pregnant this month? You can email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and tell me what the doctor says. I'm curious why this would happen.
Please check it out. Your health is very important. I don't recommend birth control that's hormonal because there are too many risks and side effects that happen to women. Hope to hear from you soon.
