Marvelon 21 Pill Missed Dose: What to Do & What to Expect

I'm a healthy, 23 yr old woman, who has been on Marvelon 21 for about 5 yrs now. With the pack i'm currently on now, I missed 2 pills in a row right in the middle of the pack..when i realized my mistake i immediately took the 2 pills, and have been using alternative birth control...the day after i took the pills, i got my period..it was the same as always, just a week and a half early. i wasn't sure if i should continue the pills, so i did just to be safe. my period lasted the usual amount of time and stopped. i now have 2 pills left, and my period has started AGAIN...should I start a new pack once this one is done or wait for the 7 days as usual and potentially get my period again?

Answer
I would wait the 7 days and keep taking them in the usual way.  You may get your period again, but it will probably be light.  If you don't wait the 7 days you're more likely to have bleeding the next month.  As long as you wait the usual 7 days, once you start the new pack you should be back to normal.
