Mirena IUD Misplacement: X-ray Analysis & Constipation Concerns

Hi,
I saw a posting from 8/12/2009 titled Birth Control- Mirena IUD and it was about a woman who had a Mirena IUD and thought it was in incorrectly. She posted an X-ray that looks just like the x-ray I just got. She also said that she has issues with constipation, and so do I. I actually got the x-ray due to it. I then saw your post back to her but you just told her to e-mail her, so is the IUD upside down? Thank you!
AnswerI'm not a medical professional so please consult your doctor. If you don't want to go to your doctor or that is the doctor that you think placed the IUD incorrectly, then get a 2nd opinion.
I don't recommend the IUD even if inserted correctly. If you do a search online, you will see women with lots of problems and side effects from this due to hormones and other problems. So you can email me if you want to discuss any of this. My email address is CHERYL51@aol.com
