AnswerIf you're sure when you ovulate, then you can avoid pregnancy by not having sex for 7 days before ovulation and 3 days after ovulation. With a 27 day cycle, you would normally ovulate about day 13 (day 1 being the first day of a period). So you're the least fertile from day 20 of one cycle to day 6 of the next cycle.
