Missed Period After Abortion: Possible Pregnancy or Normal Cycle?

Hi,my name is ashley. My question is i had an abortion in January and still havent had my firstperiod yet and now its march. Could i be pregnant again??

Dear Ashley,
It is possible that you can be pregnant again, and it is also possible that you have just missed a period - this is common after an abortion.  The best thing for you to do is to check a pregnancy test.  It should be negative by now from the abortion in January.  If it is positive, you should get an evaluation.  If it is negative, there is nothing to worry about.  Your periods will come back to normal in the next month or two.
