Post-Abortion Period Irregularities: What to Expect & When to Seek Medical Advice

Hello,I had an abortion on Oct 16th and got my periods on Nov 16th but i didn't get my periods again on dec 16th.Me and my husband had intercourse from dec 3rd to till date and dec 24 my pregnancy test was negative.Am worried becoz i got regular period after abortion and the next month i didn't get and we are having unsafe sex and my pregnancy test is negative.Can you please help me proving some information about when to do my HCG test again and when to consult doctor becoz am already 2 weeks late(Missed period)..does this happens for anyone?

I would advise you to consult with your personal physician about this. Do you live in the U.S.? If so, you can try to find a pregnancy resource center in your area and get a free test there. http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. You could be pregnant but your test isn't showing positive yet. Sometimes that happens. Is there any other reason that you could be missing your period? Change in dietary plan or stress?
