Understanding Your Options: Early Pregnancy and Abortion Information

I messed up my birth control the last time I had sex on February 22nd. I didn't realize I had messed up my pills until too late. Though I haven't missed a period yet (it's supposed to come next week) I took a pregnancy test because I was scared and nervous. It came out positive. I know I can only be a few days pregnant at this point, but can I get an abortion now? I'm freaking out. I don't think I can stand to wait.

Most abortion offices won't complete a procedure or offer you the abortion pill until you are 5 weeks pregnant, based on your last menstrual period (or one week after your missed period).  The reason for this is that they will want to identify the pregnancy on ultrasound to make sure it is in the uterus (not ectopic).  They also need to identify the pregnancy so that they can prove that the pregnancy is ended.  You may find additional information on earlyabortion.com.  This website also lists doctors who may do the procedure earlier.  
While it's emotionally difficult, it is safer to wait another week or two.
