I had an abortion on jan 3 ..i met my first period on jan 28th..now its 3 rd march still i didnt get my second period.. me and my boy friend had a protected sex only and also i tested with pregnancy strips 2 times its negative only...so i am confused pls anyone help me

"Protected" sex doesn't protect you from anything. It only delays pregnancy, and can lead to sexually transmitted diseases as well. You are only vulnerable for pregnancy about 15% of the month, but you are vulnerable to STDs all the time. There is really only one method that is foolproof for avoiding pregnancy: abstinence. Remember, your boyfriend doesn't have to suffer the medical consequences of abortion. You do. If he has emotional consequences, they won't be as severe as yours. If he truly cares about you, he will stop putting you at risk, and protect you. Please think hard about continuing to take these kinds of risks. If your boyfriend doesn't care enough about you to protect you, you should look for someone else.

As far as your period is concerned, any abortion disrupts a woman's hormones. You didn't say what kind of abortion you had, but they all do that. Irregular periods may well just be a consequence of having had an abortion. It is a little early to determine that you truly missed your next period, or to have a successful and reliable test for pregnancy that says you are not pregnant. Wait a week and test again.
