QuestionHey Danielle,
I am a student at Temescal Canyon High school, doing a bioethics report on abortion and need an expert interview. I would really appreciate it if you answered the following questions. Please answer as many as you can. Thank you so much!
1. Do you believe the fetus is alive in the womb or outside of it?
2. About how many babies do you abort a year?
3. When do you consider it is necessary to abort?
4. Why do you think many women abort?
5. Do you think women should abort their children instead of giving them up for adoption? Why or why not?
6. What is the best advice you can give 2 a teen who is currently making the decision between aborting or giving up for adoption?
7. What advice do would you give to teens who are currently thinking about having sex, even though they know the risks involved?
Thank You so very much! I really appreciate it!

AnswerHi Kim :)
I would love to!
1. I do believe it is alive inside-but I do emphasize that a baby does not breathe for the first time until after it has been born.
2. I don't personally abort pregnancies, but about 1 million abortions are performed in the US each year.
3.Whenever a woman wants to end a pregnancy. Her reason(s) are no one's business but hers.
4. Polls show that the main reasons are financial and not being ready.
5. Each individual woman should make the choice that's right for HER. Not for anyone else, she will be the only one living with all the consequences of her choice. It's not mine or society's to make.
6. I'd say list the pros and cons of each choice. Read experiences ( I have resources for those if you'd like).
7. If they have sex, they need to think through all the possible consequences (positive AND negative), think about protection, and working on consent. Have fun, and if you can't handle certain risks, you need to only have the kinds of sex that don't pose a risk.
