Question Good evening,
My name is Denis, and I come from Southern California. Upon receiving a recent newsletter--such as this one--, I spotted the category of abortion. I'm curious to as where you stand on this issue--what position you hold on this serious thought-provoking matter? Acknowledging that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I find it hard to understand the innocent murdering of babies. Today, more babies are being aborted than ever! The rate at which these babies die is astronomically high. Why do these young and older women have these abortions? I know--it all comes down to lust. For example, many times we all are anxious to do something--such as an interesting project--and the first couple days it's enjoyable and fun. After a few days ago, we get lazy and put it off, sometimes exterminating the whole thing. In comparison, that's how today's women act: first they lust for sex--as guys do--because people find it fun, erotic, pleasurable...you name it! Sin is pleasurable for a short season. Once there pleasure is over and a baby is on the way, they simply won't go through with it, and as a way of ending it,they tough-luck the baby by aborting(murdering) it. You say, "What about women who are raped?" Yes, that's another sad and torn issue, but all I say is "Give the baby up for adoption!" I mean if you do not want the responsiblity of a baby, the least these women could do is give it up for adoption. It's not the baby's fault that the women today abuse their bodies; this all shows how ignorant this corrupt and impure world is...honestly, it's true! No one these days can take responsibility for their careless mistakes; we reap what we sow! Some say, "it's not living yet, so it's not murdering!" What is the function of umbilical cord? For show? It's for the baby's nurishment, breathing, and anything the female intakes. According to the popular vote, abortion has really made a stand, and this form of birth control has really been used intentionally. We say, "It's OK to abort our babies!" That's not murder, it's perfectly fine; but when a serial killer murders a pregnant woman, he is charged with double murder( the woman, and the innocent baby). What do you see wrong with this picture? I'm just here to express my stand on such an issue, because It made me sad to see how freely you can get a hold of these sites and use them. It's a sad thing! I felt like pouring my thoughts out to you, because I feel that everyone needs to take a closer look at the seriousness of abortion. Thank you for your time! Peace, Love, and God Bless~~~
Answernormaly i dont answer questions and comments such as this but i want to address your comment on children of rape:
you must not have anyone in your family who has gone thru a rape. i have, and thank God i didnt get pregnant from it. But let me tell you about the girls that come thru my office day in and day out. I work with women under the age of 25, that are pregnant and have no support group. I am a crisis intervention counsler ( not an abortion counsler or advocate) I have had 4 girls in the last 5 years come thru my office who were pregnant due to rape and one due to insest... "Jaz" the young lady who was pregnant due to insest. tried everything that she could to cuase her-self to mis-carry, as the state she lives in requires parental consent before an abortion and they wouldnt give it... She ened up over-dosing on a hodge-podge of drugs, fried her brain to where she is a a perment coma, and the baby which was just born.... is not expected to live more then acouple of days..... now had she been allowed the abortion when she asked for it.. at 4 weeks into the pregnancy.. the heart was not even beating yet, there for there was no heartbeat to stop. nothing to kill and a beautiful bright, talented young lady would be getting ready to go to her winter prom.
One of my rape pregnancy girls had an abotion and while she is still racked by nightmares of the abortion, she thanks God everyday that she does not have to feel that baby kick and remeber the rape. One of the girls committed sudicide, and one gave the child up for adoption but had to be sedated for the majority of the pregnancy due to the pshycoligical probelms the pregnancy cuased.. but she didnt belive in abortions.... so she wouldnt have one...
Now something else i want to add. See i am neither pro-choice or pro-life.. i answer questions unbaistly. And i am a strong christian. For years i was told by pastor's etc that "God is against abortion" did you know that isnt 100% true. If you read duetornomy, you will find this:
"If one man should cuase his neigbors wife to lose her unborn child, that man should pay her husband one calf"
and " if a woman cuases her unborn child to die she shall be unclean for half a year" that means that she would have to live outside the city for 6 months.. no menition that it is a sin, or even a strong pusnishment... lying or stealing had worse punishments....
