hi ya,I had an abortion about a year ago,before than my periods were really heavy used to suffer really bad with them they could last up to 7days.now i have them light,im still on then pill had been told to take it after the abortion to help stop any infections so i did, when on the pill the 1st day and even sometimes the 2nd day i have brown discharge with a small clot. then it goes pink/red after but only lasts about 4days light.but came off the pill one month and it started a little brown but went pink/red faster but still the length of time was about the same.Should i go see a doctor,thought it might come right by now....

Please be aware that an abortion is a serious disruption of a woman's hormones. And now that you are on the pill, you are also continuing to disrupt your hormones. And contrary to popular belief, the pill actually makes a woman more susceptible to infection, especially things like HIV.
