Understanding Abortion Options & Resources - A Support Guide

I recently found out that I was pregnant. I told the father about it today, who happens to be my best friend. We had a long talk and decided that neither of us are capable of financially supporting a child, and my health is very poor. I'm 23 years old and don't know where to turn to find answers for abortion. Can a ob/gyn perform an abortion? Or give out the medications that cause an abortion? The closest abortion clinic to me is three hours away. And I just don't know what to do. I've been crying and crying, with the thought that I have no other option on the table when it comes to having this baby. I know that this is the smart and right move. I just don't know what to do now... Please, help?

It can be very hard to go through this, especially the first time you are pregnant.  Where do you live?  I can see if I know a particularly good place.  
You will be completely fine - you will be able to get pregnant when you are ready.  You can talk with someone at these two hotlines: 1-866-4 EXHALE, 1-800-772-9100.  They can talk with you about how you're feeling, and help you find a doctor.
