QuestionI had a medicated abortion done on January 31, 2009 at home, it is now April 1st and I'm assuming my first real period has started, I got my period on Sat the 4th at work and had to leave, I all of a sudden got horrible pain and cramps and bled all over, it is now 6 days later and I can't go anywhere, if I walk i bleed, I am using a tampon and a pad, and went through 16 tampons and 10 pads during this time(past 6 days), I called planned parenthood twice with no call back, is this a normal first period after this type of procedure? I have only spotted or had no bleeding..
AnswerIf Planned Parenthood did the abortion, they should see you for this problem. But if they won't, it's important for you to get to a doctor or clinic. You need to find out why you're bleeding if it keeps going. Please check this out as your health is of utmost importance.
