Post-Abortion Bleeding: What to Expect & When to Worry - Colorado

Hi im Angie from Colorado I'm 17 years old and I had an abortion back in August 2012. I had sex about a month later, but I used a condom. The past few days I've been bleeding in a brownish color, should I be worried? Or is this normal. I also did the mistake of not having the 2 week checkup after the abortion.

You should go back for the checkup.  This bleeding can be normal.  Take a urine pregnancy test.  If it is negative then everything is fine.  If it is positive, you can have retained blood that has not passed.  It is not harmful and will just cause spotting until you get your next period.
