Post-Abortion Pregnancy Concerns: What to Do?

Hi,
I've read many of your answers to the questions people asks you and i believe you can be of good help to this problem.My younger sister was 3month preg. and went for an abortion but the doctor did not complete the surgery,he just did something there my sister bleeded for two days,he gave her an injection the substance in the syringe was dark ash in colour and also gave her some tablets to take when she gets home she doesn't know the type of drugs that he gave her but after a week or so she started bleeding profusely she was rushed to the hospital the doctors really worked on her and removed the foetus. pls i dont know the extent of damage that will cause her and after a year she went for a homonal test she was told that she is not ovulating. she is so much afraid thinking may be its the way the abortion was done that made her to stop ovulating or the substance which the doctor injected in her vain that made her so and finally she wants to get pregnant now which is not coming fort. Kindly send a reply she needs your help now.she so much confides in me that she tells me everything. Nigeria

I'm really sorry your sister is having this difficulty. Nobody will be able to tell you the reason for this problem over the internet, not even a doctor. This is especially true since you don't know what medication they gave her.

It is entirely possible that the doctor in this case wanted to stop your sister from ever having children. Sadly, there are doctors who are affiliated with organizations that will do things like that. You should try to find a doctor who will not do this to her, and who will really look into the situation.

Go here, and use "Nigeria" in the country dropdown list. You should find about a dozen places where you can get a recommendation. Find the one nearest you and contact them.
