What are the home remedies to get my periods. and If I should be taking tablets at all.
Help and advise!!
AnswerHello, Diya,
You first need to find out why you aren't getting your periods. I can't recommend tablets over the internet. I haven't examined you, taken a medical history, or tested your hormones. And I am not a doctor. All of the home remedies that will start your periods that I know about can be dangerous. I wouldn't advise any without knowing why you aren't getting your periods. You can either do some research on the internet, or you can find an Ayurvedic practitioner and ask him to help you.
Personally, I would regard not having a period as a blessing, and I am puzzled and would like to know why this is causing you to feel frustrated and irritated. If you want to be pregnant, it would make sense that you would want to have some idea of when you might be fertile. But you can learn to tell when you are fertile. You can't be using any hormones. If you don't want to be pregnant, and it worries you when you don't get your period, and you're having sex outside of marriage, the safest thing you can do that will give you the most peace of mind is to stop having sex.
If you are taking any hormones, they could have stopped your period. Hormones are bad for your body anyway.
If you are suffering from malnutrition, that could cause your periods to stop. If you are a vegetarian, there is a good chance this is the problem. You need to get animal fat into your diet. You can get it through meat, milk (or cheese), or eggs. Your body needs animal fat to make the necessary hormones to regulate your period. I have known vegetarians who had this problem. As soon as they started eating animal foods, their bodies straightened out. Also, if you are working out or exercising excessively, this could cause it. If you are building muscle, for example, this could stop your periods. Some people who do things like ballet or gymnastics stop having periods.
It all depends on the reason why you have this problem.
You should also go to a doctor and ask him to check your hormones.
Good luck, and please let me know what you find out.
