I had a surgical abortion 4 days ago. I was 7 weeks and had really bad morning sickness. A day after the abortion, I felt fine e.g. I could finally eat, nausea had stopped. For the past 24 hours, I haven't felt very well. I have a temperature of 38, a cramped neck, constant headaches, shivers and lower back pain like I usually do when I have a fever. Is this an infection?
Please note that I have not had sex since my abortion, have not done any heavy lifting, gym and only had showers. Also, I took the antibiotics given to me on the day of my abortion.

Didn't anybody offer you a remedy for morning sickness? The best remedy I know is to sip ginger tea or ginger ale. Also, when you can eat, get enough protein, and you can eat a little cracker before getting out of bed.
A temperature of 38 isn't extremely high, but it's not normal, either, obviously. Any anesthesia you got could explain the cramped neck and lower back pain. The other symptoms could also be a result of toxicity from anesthesia as well. All of that said, it's possible you have an infection. The timing would be about right. Please be aware that antibiotics don't address viruses or fungus. Also, normally a person would take antibiotics for a number of days. If they injured you in such a way that there was penetration into the abdominal cavity, antibiotics wouldn't help. Unless you have had unusual bleeding, it may be possible to rule that out, although bleeding can be internal. Pain could certainly indicate injury as well. And by the way, infection wouldn't be particularly rare, because a lot of abortionists don't sterilize their instruments properly. A woman can pick up a sexually transmitted disease as a result, and there are about 50 of them out there, and some don't produce symptoms immediately, so you should have testing for your own safety; some of these can be treated or cured.
I recommend you see a doctor. Don't go to the person who provided the abortion. That person cannot be trusted. Abortion is harmful and unethical. Unfortunately, surgical abortions have a lot of long term consequences. They probably never told you about those. Although you are entitled to give INFORMED consent, it's rare for any abortionist to tell the full story. Among the consequences are breast cancer, miscarriage, infertility, very early birth in future children, resulting possibly in cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, mental retardation, blindness and deafness.
