Post-Abortion Recovery: Understanding Bleeding, Breast Changes & Concerns

I had a surgical abortion almost two weeks ago. At the time I was 13 weeks into my pregnancy. I have been bleeding but its mostly spotting and my breasts are slightly sore and lactating. I have not been getting sick or feeling nauseas. I know if I took a pregnancy test it would still show that I'm pregnant. I'm just very nervous that I might still be pregnant since I am lactating.

Hi Megan,
lactation is not abnormal after a 13 week abortion.
Just use a tight bra. Nothing else, and it will stop.
You not be pregnant after a surgical abortion of 13 weeks.
The pregtest though stays positive for 3 weeks as pregnancy hormones leave the blood slowly.
