Post-Abortion Discharge: What to Expect & When to Worry

I've had a D&E abortion two weeks ago, I was along my second month into the pregnancy. I was given methergin at first, to take in every four hours for 18 hours. Then afterwards they did the procedure. I didn't bathe for four days (my doctor said two to three). And did pretty normal stuff for those days. I took the antibiotics and iron pills as advised. Five days later, I went for back for my check up and the doctor gave me 15 tablets of methergin to take for another five days. A couple of days ago though, I noticed a foul-smelling discharge coming from my vagina. I found in some sites that there could be something wrong when this happens. What do I do?
