Post-Abortion Symptoms: What to Expect & When to Seek Help

I had a surgical abortion at 6-7 weeks on the 9 oct 2009.It has been 7 weeks now and for the past 3 weeks i have been getting night sweats and hot flushes during the day.I have also been quite itchy all over the body though I always had a bit itchy skin before the abortion.I am not sure why i am getting these symptons.Are they post abortion transitions the body goes through or are they indication of something else?Also how soon can i plan to get pregnant after abortion?kind regards.Ria Fernandes

Thanks for your question. Has anything changed for you since you asked me your question? These symptoms could possibly be from pregnancy but I can't tell you over the internet. Why do you want to get pregnant if you just had an abortion recently. Did you have your post abortion checkup about 2 to 3 weeks after your abortion?
