Post-Abortion Pain & Burning Sensation: What to Expect

I had a suction abortion while I was six weeks and four days pregnant, I've been experiencing pain similar to a urinary tract infection but not as severe. I'm not sure what the problem is but it's really irritating me. Also this was my first time ever having a speculum used, and i'm wondering if that could cause the burning sensation. It's only been approximately two days and i have very light bleeding still.

The burning can be from the speculum.  It should go away in a few days. If the burning gets worse or if you note difficulty passing urine then you may have a urinary tract infection which should be treated. Also, watch for itching inside the vagina.  If you are on an antibiotic, you can develop a yeast infection.  Bleeding is usually light the first few days then gets heavier.
