Massage Oil Allergies: Safe Alternatives for Sensitive Skin

Question
hello and thankyou for reading this, im in full time college doing massage and holistic therapies (totally love it) However i have a nut allergy so i started using sesame seed oil and got a reaction (red very itchy rash on arm) today i used grapeseed oil and the very same thing happened do you know anything else i could try? many thanks suzanne

Answer
Thanks for your inquiry, Suzanne.

You may not like the answer I am about to give you, but whether I am an MT or just an individual confronting this concern, my FIRST response would be to seek the aide of an Allergist to determine all that you are allergic to before doing any more trial & error experimentation. After all, without knowing or expecting it, the next attempt could kill you (aka anaphylactic shock).

Once the allergist determines what all you are allergic to, then you get his/her recommendations as to which ingredients in a massage oil you can safely have applied to you body.

I hope that helps you.
