Carrier Oils & Base Oils for Massage: A Comprehensive Guide

Hi Zira,

How are you?
wanted to know two things regarding massage oil:

Firstly : Are carrier oil and base oil the same ?

Secondly what are the common base oils that can be used to dilute Aroma oils and is there a combination that I need to keep in mind so that I have a large quanity to massage the entire body with (while the smell from aroma oil is not lost)

I'm fine thank you. I've only ever used one oil per treatment. If I do an aroma therapy massage I mix the aroma oil with unscented oil to dilute the strong smell.  I don't know anything about carrier and base oils though. Sorry that's all I can really tell you. I hope some of it helped.
