Back Lumps and Rubbing: Is It Okay?

Hi Brandy,
My boyfriend rubs my back everyday for about an hour or two for the past +3 years, yea I'm spoiled.   He often finds lumps which are sore.  If he rubs them for a while they go away.  I have had pain in my middle back and shoulders/neck area since I was 13, I'm 21 now.  I'm active and healthy.
Could excessive rubbings be bad for me?

So long as your skin is supple and you do not get any soreness due to abrasion...its OK. Just make sure your Boyfriend does the job safely if he's not qualified to avoid injury.
