Preventing & Repairing Split Nails: Causes & Solutions

I'm wondering...my nails tend to crack/split from the worst points deep on the side. Right now I have two nails split like that. Should I just get them glued down at the nail salon and start Nailtique formula 2 which i heard is great for splitting nails?

About your nails cracking i must that the most common reason for that happening is lack of mosturizing. Use plenty of cuticle oil daily and you should really notice an improvement, also avoid having your hands in water for long periods of time (so use gloves when doing the dishes). I've also heard very nice things about Nailtique, so you should also benefit from that too. About glueing your nails, i must say i don't really see what you mean by that, and perhaps you should just wait for your nail to grow out.
