Why Do Nails Hurt After Acrylic Removal & Gel Application? - Causes & Solutions

Why would my nails HURT after having my acrylic nails removed and gel nails put on? (they still hurt 12 hours later)!

Your nails shouldn't hurt. There are a few reason why this might be hapening. 1- Your nails were damaged during the removal process.2- Your nails were damaged previously to the removal by you tech but only now it was noticable. 3- Your nails were damaged during the application of gel. 4- If you had tips applied to extend you nail's lenght maybe the size were not correct and know they are "squeezing" the nails.
In any of these cases it was the nail tech's fault. I would advise you to confort her with this pain on your nails, if the fails to explain/repair the problem i would advise you to seek another nail tech.
