Acrylic Nail Lifting: Troubleshooting & Solutions for DIYers

Question
I use LCN acrylic gel system - self curing( powder, liquid, primer). The problem is, after a couple of days (sometimes immediately after filling), the artificial nail starts to lift around the edges (looks like an air pocket). I had the same nails done by a profesional and there was no problem. I don`t have profesional traninig myself, but it`s sort of a hobby. I just have to solve the problem. Any advice?
Thank you for your help.

Answer
Dear Sonja,

I can't emphasize enough that training is an absolute MUST when using professional products and doing people''s nails. First of all, there are risks such as overexposure and what-not to consider that you won't know of or understand without training.  Nail enhancements can not be considered a hobby.  There is too much involved.  Ask any GOOD professional what their training cost and you'll see it's no hobby.

I regret, but neither my conscience nor my professionalism will allow me to assist you with this issue simply because I would be doing a disservice to you.  There is no way I can resolve your issue via this method since there is far too much you don't know, and you might not even understand my 'troubleshooting'/reply.  There are too many factors to consider.

I strongly advise you seek appropriate training.  Also, it's interesting that you have lcn - a professional system.   I hope that you didn't obtain it from ebay as they often sell products fraudulently.  Labelling them one thing when they are in fact something else.

Best of luck
Victoria
