Acrylic vs. Pink & White Nails: Cost, Benefits & Why the Difference?

I am wondering why it costs so much more (almost double) to get the pink and white vs getting a "fill" on my acrylics.  I am reluctant to try it due to the price difference and want to know why and what the benefits are.

Doing pink and white nails takes more time and efford from the  nail tech then doing natural enhancements. The tech has to "draw" a smile line using the white acrylic nail by nail before appying te pink acrylic, so it is understandable that it is more expensive.
