QuestionI have been getting acrylic nails for over 5 years now, and everytime one falls off, I am mortified by these small black lines ( they're about 2mm long, and there is about 2-5 of them on each nail. Is this a fungus??
AnswerWell, it's more likely than not NOT a fungus.
What it probably is, is basically small sliver scabs under your nailplate, in your nailbed, from being overfiled by electric files or aggressive hand filing.
Your nails should also never EVER just fall off. Or lift.
Sounds to me like you need to start shopping for a new nail tech.
