UV Lights and Nail Polish Drying: Do They Really Work?

Is it beneficial in any way to use a uv light to dry polish between each coat or after all coats have been applied to natural nails using OPI Start to Finish...not a UV Top Coat?

Unless the polish is a UV polish or top coat, the UV light does nothing to dry the nails.
I use a fan from WalMart.
Over the years that is the one thing I searched high and low for. The "perfect" dryer. One that the client would not ding in and actually dried. The small fan works the best!!!
