Nail Salon Receptionist: Health Risks of Acrylic & Solar Nails

hi. i work in a nail spa as a receptionist. the location of my desk is alongside the nailtechs working tables. i usually work ten hour shifts, and at the end of the day, my nose feels dried up and at times i bleed from it. what kind of long lasting effects does the exposure to acrylic/solar nails have on a person? how harmful are they?

Dear Mariela,

Please find out where the products are coming from, what brand etc. As far as I know there will be no effects from using the acrylics leading to nose bleedings. I suggest you take a dermatology test as well as for allergies. The dry nose does not ring a bell except for the air condition.
