Preventing Blue Tones in Black Acrylic Nails: A Solution

Question
Hello,
I love black nails but I work a lot with my hands. So in trying to keep my nails looking good I decided to do a full black acrylic set on my nails.

I have the nail tech do a UV Gel top coat to keep them shiny. The only draw back is that they look navy blue in the sun. My question, is there any way to keep this from happening? It kind of ruins the whole idea for me considering I live in AZ and it is very bright outside! Not to mention hot!

Would a full UV Gel set be better?

Let me know! Thank you so much!

Answer
Hi,
Unfortunately acrylic is not going to be the blackest black. You could try a UV black gel polish over the black acrylic and a sealer to finish! Now that would look awesome and super shinny like black glass. If you can't find a polish try the black used for the art on gels.
I know enVogue has a primary color pak it has a full coverage black in it.

Hope this helps,

Amber
