Repairing Damaged Nails After Long-Term Acrylic/Glue Use
QuestionI too have taken my glue on nails off my fingers as I have been wearing them for 25 years. My nails (or lack of nails) are in very, very, bad shape. I barely have any nail left on the bed. Mostly skin. What product do you think will help me.They hurt a lot but I want to try and speed up the growth process as much as I can so I don't have to put them back on. PLEASE HELP
AnswerHi Marla,
At this point what you have described I would not use any product except oil and or lotion. You can go to the healthfood store and get Biotin ,keritin and calcium .If you have as much damage as you have described Putting any product on would cause permanent damage.
Once the nails start to grow out then nail hardener and oil and lotion is your est bet.
