Navigating Pregnancy: A Personal Journey Through the First Trimester

I am currently 16 weeks along my pregnancy timeline and I am now finally starting to enjoy it. It was hard work at the beginning for a lot of reasons but now I am getting to the fun stuff. If you are struggling at the moment then don't worry and hopefully my story will help.

I found out I was pregnant a couple of days after I missed my period. I was very excited and my partner was too. I then began to worry because I didn't feel like I was pregnant. "What if there was something wrong?" I used to think a lot.

It won't be long until you feel the pregnancy symptoms. People say that this is the hardest part of the pregnancy timeline and with good reason. You will get morning sickness and this can be at any time of the day. You start to ache all the time and the worst thing for me was the tiredness. I was always tired. I found it very hard to get out of bed in the morning and when I got home from work I just wanted sleep.

There were some days when I did feel all right and didn't have to lie on the sofa all day. I would then panic, "what if something was wrong?" I would think again. As long as I felt pregnant I felt ok.

Once you have the twelve-week scan then you can start to relax a bit. I was very nervous before but after seeing the baby on the screen I did relax. Everything was as it should be at this point which was really good news. I was told that I would start to feel better soon too.

As you know I am now at week 16 of the pregnancy timeline and I feel the best I have felt so far. I have energy and I'm not as grumpy (which my partner is happy about!). Now I am looking at things to buy for the baby. It is so much fun! If you still are intrigued in how I am currently getting on then visit my new pregnancy timeline website. I would love for you to join me on my pregnancy timeline adventure.
