Carb Counting for Weight Loss: A Personalized Guide
QuestionI want to start counting carbs so I can loose weight but don't know how many cars a day I should eat.
I don't want a slow weight loss but not a fast one either.
I'd still like some treats in the day.
I'm 60yrs old female.....5"3".......178 lbs.
I'd like to get down to 165 first what I was a yr ago.

Your normal carb intake should be 200 grams a day. If you want to cut back I would suggest not cutting back more then 50 to 60 carbs per day or it will start to effect your energy level. If you see that 150 - 140 grams is not effecting your energy level then cut back an additional ten - 15 grams and this should help you reach your goal.
