QuestionI have a bracelet with a huge black stone -Black Onyx perhaps? The stone is oval shaped. It is siler and heavy. It was given to me about 30 years ago by a boyfriend. The only markings I can fine is the name PRICE stamped on the back. Could you tell me anything about the maker of this piece?

Many items from around that period (1970's - 1980's) were in fact a heavy base metal and then Silver Plated.
As you didn't mention any .925 or Silver marks, I assume it may be this style of jewelry. The weight seems to suggest it too.
If so, the gemstone is more likely to be paste, especially if it is domed in a cabachon style.
