Diamond Ring Appraisal & Selling - 18ct Gold & Platinum

I'm wondering if you can help me with this ring.  I am wanting to sell it and i've had this for about 15 years originally purchased from an antique dealer.  It is a very old ring (i have a very good clear picture if you would like me to send it) the markings inside say G? or D?/H - 18CT - PLAT then what looks like the word, LIFE.  It has 3 diamonds which are set in a platinum mount which goes halfway round the ring.  Very pretty ring.  I would be very grateful for any answers you may have.  Thanks for your time and best wishes Sammy
