Platinum and White Gold Rings: Can You Wear Them Together?

I have a platinum engagement ring and would like a full diamond band for my wedding ring. However the wedding ring I have seen is white gold. Is it ok to where platinum and white gold together?

there is no "law" that says you cant. Both will look fine the only difference may be as you wear the white gold ring, it will show a slight "tinge" of yellow as the platinum will always be white since its a pure metal. The platinum will scratch much easier so one will be shiny and the other slightly dull. It will be fine you probably wouldn't even notice it wearing it daily. If it bothered you after a while you can always have the white gold ring Rhodium Finished which means it may be "plated" white just like platinum however it will wear off depending on how you wear it and the thickness of the plating it should avg. 3-6 months
