Identifying a Gold Wedding Ring: Markings & Value

hi i found a gold wedding ring this year but i cannot find out when it was made it starts with a c then looks like a star  then cross then a inital w please can you help

sorry - there is not a mechanism to determine age of a piece of jewelry especially a plain gold band just by markings that I know......age of the item has nothing to do with value in this case.....gold is gold and the value is based on the world markets which now is approx. 670/ounce for 24kt pure what Karat gold is it???
