Archibald Knox Earrings: Authenticity & Value - Expert Appraisal

We are hoping you may be able to help us. We have recently purchased a pair of small dropper celtic silver 925 earrings and on closer inspection noticed they are stamped Knox on the reverse. Would this be the renowned Archibald Knox of Liberty fame and if so would they have any value? It is obvious to us that they are vintage by the condition and the faintness of the Knox stamp.

Hello Annabel and thank you for your inquiry. The earrings you have could possibly be by Archibald Knox but would, in all probability, also have the sterling hallmarks, British or Liberty hallmarks also. To get a positive, or as positive as you can get, appraisal - you should have an estate appraiser check them out - hopefully one with knowledge on Celtic jewelry.
