Understanding 14K Gold Earrings: What Does '585' Mean?

I have a set of pear earrings and I'd like to know as much as possible about them they have written 585A on the gold part of the earring they are peachy color with a tint of multicolor silky cover they are the size of a fat pea

585 mark on Gold refers to 14K Gold i.e. for 58.5% of the ring is Pure Gold.
Other than that, I can tell you more  only on seeing a photo of the ring or the gemstones.
