QuestionQUESTION: A while back, I bought a 14K gold bracelet for my wife.
It's 6.9" long and consists of 18 fluer-de-lis-like segments, each of which also has two 6-petal flowers.
It has a maker's mark that has the letters "OR" inside the outline of a heart.
Can you tell me who made it, and when?
Thanks!
ANSWER: Hello Barney and thank you for your inquiry. Your bracelet sounds lovely. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate this particular logo. Could be this is a monogram instead of manufacturer information or that the mfg just wasn't registered, which was common in vintage jewelry. The internet is a vast resource and you might be able to find something similar using your browser search. Try several different search engines - Google or Yahoo. If I locate anything, I will let you know. Sorry I couldn't be of further help at this time. Enjoy your bracelet.

QUESTION: Thanks for taking a look... I've searched the web multiple times using a lot of different key words-- all without luck. Would it be helpful if I sent you a photo of the bracelet?
AnswerHello Barney - I've rechecked my resources and have not been able to find an OR inside a heart. It is possible this particular mfg did not have a registered trademark, thus making it very difficult to trace. I can suggest that if you can find some back copies of The Jewelers Keystone Magazine, they may have a listing. Back copies are sometimes available in libraries. Sorry I couldn't help you further. Good luck !
