Identifying & Valuing Antique Gold Rings: Hallmarks & Age

Question
Hello, I just purchased what was described as a poison ring at an estate sale. it looks ike a tiny book with a cross on the top. The hallmarks I have never seen most of. 18k, 3 small crowns, a silouette of a queen, Y5, C.I.G.
I am hoping this has a wonderful history! Linda Also any idea of value and age?

Answer
Hi Linda,
Hi Linda
You just may have something there!
Unfortunately the hallmarks only tell me the piece is from the UK and that it is of 18K yellow gold.
I'm afraid thats all I'm able to tell you without seeing the piece.
See if you can locate an appraiser in your area. It just may have a substantial value.

Thank You for writing,
