Is My Sapphire Ring Real? Expert Verification & Authentication Tips

Sapphire ring Hi! I recently bought a ring from a seller on ebay. This was the description given to me.

"Australia Sapphire Ring - AAA Quality -18k White Gold Plated Sz 6. Stuning round cut sapphire in the center with small diamonds arounded".

Now i attatched a picture of it because i would like to know if its real. Or atleast if with your experience, if you could tell me how i can verify for myself if it is real or fake.

THERE IS NO WAY I CAN TELL YOU IF IT IS FAKE OR REAL BY LOOKING AT A PHOTO. THESE ARE SUPPOSEDLY AUSTRALIAN SAPPHIRES THAT LOOK PURE WHITE, NO COLOR. UNUSUAL SINCE MOST AUSTRALIAN SAPPHIRES ARE VERY DARK. UNLESS THEY ARE SYNTHETIC WHITE SAPPHIRES FROM AUSTRALIA. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU PAID FOR THE RING. IF IT IS LESS THAN $30 I WULD BE HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. THEY BEST WAY TO VERIFY IF IT IS NATURAL SAPPHIRE WOULD BE TO TAKE IT TO A GRADUATE GEMOLOGIST AND HAVE THE STONES I.D.'D. OR SEND IT TO A LOCAL LAB FOR IDENTIFYING.
