QuestionI read an answer you gave to another about learning to solder. How does one find a jewelry school? I live in Richmond, Virginia and find no listings in the yellow pages. For now, I wish to do jewelry making as a hobby, but I want to do the job right. Tripps catalog has an 80 minute video on "various soldering techniques." Can I learn this from a book and a video? Or will I not only waste money, but raw material as well? I am willing to make the time & financial commitment.
AnswerJody, please know this is not the total answer. I will do that tomorrow evening when I get home from a "Christmas Eve" wildness at a retail business. Yikes!
