Ring Resizing: Is it Possible? (Hollow Band & Diamonds)

I bought this ring and its a size 6.5. When I asked them to size it them I was informed that they could not size it. I need it to be a 4.75 or 5. It is hollow at the top and has diamonds partially on the sides. I really hope it can be sized and that the customer service rep was just misinformed. Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The ring will be very difficult to size down 1.5 sizes.....without some diamonds being compromised and will fall out in the cleaning process...the ring should have been ordered in the correct size, now that you have it what can be done? the ring CAN be sized to a 5 but the ring will not be able to be rounded at the bottom....it will be slightly oval and YES this can be done carefully by an expert. If no one will do it for you, send it to me and I will be able to help you.
