Diamond Ring Hallmarks: Understanding Your Metal & Craftsmanship
QuestionHello there i bought a diamond ring of ebay and it has hallmarks iv never seen before it is 18 cart gold and the shank and the middle bit of the ring is solid platinum i can see it has initials GRS then it has 4 hallmarks the first is a square with the corners cut off and it has a crown with a point on the top the second is a square with the corners cut off and that has 18 in it the 3rd is a square with corners cut off and has a anchor in it the fourth is more of a rectangle with the corners cut off and that has a fish shape in it can you help with its age and maybe even value cheers kellie.

Possibaly between 1960 - Current would be my best guess Definately from the UK. I cant do a valuation without seeing it by law. Try a valuator is Bristol.
