Identifying a Vintage Mohawk Ladies Watch: Expert Insights

Question
My mother's estate had an old Mohawk ladies watch with a green and gold brocade-look decorative case.  Inside the lid it has  Mohawk trademarek and "Chosen by Experts Cased and Timed in U.S.A."  I can't find any info on Mohawk watches online.  The watch face itself is rectangular and the wind button is on the top of the watch underneath a half circle that holds the mesh band (which could be original or not).  Any info on this?

She also has a small, round pendant watch that was covered with blue enamel but since most of it has worn off.  She told me her dad had it in his jewelry store in the early 1930's.  The back screws off and all I can read on the inside is "Swiss" and Sterling Silver.  There are numbers but I can't make them out.  Any clues?

Answer
Hello Brenda and thank you for your inquiry. I have not been able to locate anything about the Mohawk watch, but will definitely keep trying. The other watch is obviously Swiss made and has a sterling silver case. The numbers inside probably pertain the the registration number by the manufacturer. If you look closely you may find other numbers or initials indicating any repairs done, etc. as watchmakers frequently marked their work.  Below is a site that may be able to help you further.  Just click on the url or copy and paste it into your browser address field and hit enter.
